Why the browser beats an app
Third-party converter apps are frequently removed from app stores for policy violations, and the ones that survive often bundle aggressive advertising or request permissions they don't need. A browser-based converter avoids all of that: nothing to install, nothing to update, nothing running in the background on your phone.

Steps for Android and iPhone
Copy the video link
Open the video in the YouTube app, tap Share, then Copy link. You can also copy the URL from your browser's address bar.
Open the converter in your browser
Go to yt2mp3.lol in Chrome (Android) or Safari (iPhone). Any modern browser works.
Paste the link and choose MP3
Paste the URL into the input field, select MP3 and a bitrate, then tap convert. Keep the tab open while it processes.
Download the file
When the download link appears, tap it. On Android the file saves to Downloads; on iPhone it goes to the Files app under Downloads.
Add it to your home screen
For one-tap access, install the site like an app: on Android, tap the browser menu and choose Add to Home screen; on iPhone, tap the Share button in Safari and choose Add to Home Screen. Where your files end up
Android: open the Files app and look in Downloads. Most music players scan this folder automatically, so the track appears in your library within a minute. iPhone: open the Files app, then Browse → Downloads (under iCloud Drive or On My iPhone, depending on your Safari settings). From there you can share the file to any player app.
